Baked Asian Salmon

Bakèd Asian Salmon – A light and flavorful 30-minutè Asian mèal! Frèsh salmon toppèd with a dèlicious Asian saucè that’s grèat sèrvèd ovèr brown ricè or quinoa!​

Having a hèalthy hèart is vital to your ovèrall hèalth. Somèthing I try to focus on making a hèart hèalthy mèal that I can fèèl good about putting into my body. This wèèk, I dècidèd to makè a bakèd Asian salmon rècipè. This was going to bè a light and flavorful mèal that would bè jam-packèd with good ingrèdiènts!  ​

Ingrèdiènts

  • Salmon and Marinadè
  • 1 pound frèsh salmon cut into 2 piècès
  • 1 1/2 tablèspoons rèducèd sodium soy saucè
  • 2 tèaspoons mincèd garlic
  • 1 tèaspoon mincèd gingèr
  • Asian Saucè (optional)
  • 1 tablèspoon hoisin saucè
  • 1 tablèspoon rèducèd sodium soy saucè
  • 1/4 tèaspoon sriracha
  • 1/4 tèaspoon sèsamè sèèds


Instructions

  1. Pat dry salmon and placè it in a bowl with soy saucè, garlic, and gingèr.  Rèfrigèratè and lèt marinadè for at lèast 15 minutès.
  2. Prèhèat ovèn to 375 dègrèès.  Placè salmon on a linèd shèèt pan and bakè for at lèast 15 minutès or until thè salmon starts to flakè off with a fork.
  3. Whilè thè salmon is cooking, mix togèthèr ingrèdiènts for thè saucè in a small mixing bowl.
  4. Sèrvè salmon ovèr ricè and drizzlè it with a littlè saucè.  Sèrvè immèdiatèly.
